Clinical observations on steroid-resistance nephrotic syndrome associated with bacterial infection

Abstract
|
|
|
Five patients are presented who illustrated the occurrence of infection causing steroid unresponsiveness in patient with nephrotic syndrome in childhood. Correct diagnosis and adequate treatment of infection induced a rapid remission. Pulmonary tuberculosis was emphasized among such infection.
Review of literature was also given briefly.
